Holiday Inn Express Chennai Mahindra World City wins Development of the Year Award at Hotel Investments Forum India (HIFI) 2015

Holiday Inn Express, Chennai Mahindra World City, with 140 keys, developed by Duet India Hotels was announced as winner of the Development of the Year Award (Budget and Mid-priced) at Hotel Investments Forum India (HIFI) 2015. This is the second year in a row that Duet India Hotels has been rewarded. The hotel is owned by Duet Smart Hotels Duet Smart Hotels, a Joint Venture between Duet India Hotels and InterContinental Hotels Group. The hotel was adjudged by an eminent panel as the best new hotel in its category in the country among many others in the category.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hyderabad Gachibowli is located in the heart of the city’s IT and financial district and close to Hitech City as well as the HITEX Exhibition Centre, making it the smart choice for business travellers. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hyderabad Gachibowli is the third Holiday Inn Express in India.

Holiday Inn Express Ahmedabad was awarded as the best new hotel of the year 2013 in its category at Hotel Investment Conference South Asia (HICSA) 2013. The list of finalists comprising of various internationally branded properties across segments was derived by an esteemed panel of judges using a detailed point-based analysis model of each hotel's ranking across various criteria. The winners were finally selected by the delegates via an online voting system.

Holiday Inn Express Ahmedabad was awarded as "World's Leading New Mid-Market Hotel 2012" by World Travel Awards, 'The Oscars of the World Travel Industry'. The hotel, developed by Duet India Hotels under a joint venture with Intercontinental Group, is the first Holiday Inn Express to open in India. As part of the JV, Duet India Hotels will be developing 23 Holiday Inn Express hotels with ~3,300 rooms over next few years. In addition to Holiday Inn Express Ahmedabad, there are currently five more hotels being developed under the JV, two of which are expected to become operational at Hyderabad and Chennai in the financial year 2013-14.
